The National Prosthetic and Orthotics Center under the Institutional Care Division of the Ghana Health Service received some support from the Staff of Access bank limited to help the needy who came to the center (NPOC) for treatment but could not afford to pay their bills.

To account for the support received from Access bank, the Ghana Health Service invited some beneficiaries to play a major role as witnesses in the meeting.

10 critical clients who needed some kind of support to carry them through some stages of their rehabilitation were identified by the Ghana Health Service and with the aid from Access bank have received treatment and are currently doing well.

The Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Anthony Adofo Ofosu who gave his message on behalf of the Director General stated that as part of the services of GHS in the country, the Service is mandated to give quality care to the people of Ghana. He reiterated that the Service is grateful for the generous support from the staff of Access Bank.
