Dr. Emmanuel Tinkorang is a Medical Doctor and Senior Public Health Specialist. He graduated from University of Ghana School of Medicine/Dentistry with MBChB in 1991.
He holds Master of Public Health Degree (MPH) from University of Ghana School of Public Health and a Fellow of Ghana College of Physician (FGCP) (Public Health) and Clinical Fellow of Joana Briggs Institute (CFJBI) University of Addleude South Australia.
Prior to his current position as Regional Director of Health Service of Ashanti Region, Dr. Tinkorang had worked in various capacities in the Ghana Health Service including Medical Superintendent of Nsawam Hospital and District Director of Health Service from 1993 to 2001, Deputy Director Public Health for Eastern and then Brong Ahafo Region from 2001 to 2013, Ag. Regional Director of Health Service “ Brong Ahafo Region from 2010 to 2011, and Regional Director of Health Service “ Western Region from 2014 to 2017
