Ethics and Research Management

The Ethics and Research Management Department ensures the development of quality and consistency in all types of research conducted within the GHS. The Department serves as the secretariat for the Ghana Health Service Ethics Review Committee which is responsible for reviewing all health research protocols to ensure compliance with prevailing ethical standards. The Department also conducts monitoring of ongoing research studies to ensure compliance with the approved protocols and in accordance with best research practices.
