Dr Winfred Ofosu is a public health physician specialist with 27 years of work experience spanning both clinical and public health practice including leadership and management. He is a product of the University of Ghana Medical School with MB. Ch.B. Additionally, he holds Master of Public Health from School of Public Health, University of Ghana; Postgraduate Diploma from International Professional Managers Association, England; Master of Public Sector Management, GIMPA; Diploma in Health Systems from Galilee International Management Institute and Member of Ghana College of Physicians.
He has previously worked in three regions including Volta, Upper West and Upper East regions. Previous management and leadership positions held include Medical Superintendent, District Director of Health Services and Deputy Director Public Health. He is a member of Ghana Medical Association and American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has been Regional Director of Health Services for the past 5 years
