Dr. Emmanuel Kofi Dzotsi is a Senior Public Health Specialist and Physician Epidemiologist. Prior to his appointment as the Regional Health Director in December 2019, Dr. Dzotsi worked as the Programme Manager, National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme, GHS from 2011 to December 2019; Public Health Information Management Focal Point at Disease Surveillance Department, Public Health Directorate, GHS from September 2009 to December 2019; District Director of Health Services, South Tongu District Health Directorate, Sogakope, Volta Region from 2004- 2007 and as Senior Medical Officer In-Charge, Atebubu District Hospital, Brong-Ahafo Region from 2003-2004.
He is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians (FGCP)-Faculty of Public Health and a Member of the Ghana College of Physicians (MGCP)-Faculty of Public Health. He holds Masters of Public Health (MPH) from University of Ghana, Legon and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Alma-Ata State Medical Institute, Republic of Kazahkstan.
