Quality Assurance Department

Mandate Of The Department 

• The development and implementation of Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance and Infection Control Systems in all health facilities consistent with National, Bilateral and International expectations
• The provision of Support, Monitoring and Evaluation of Quality Assurance programs and projects in collaboration with Regions, Districts and Sub-districts with a view to promoting total quality in program effectiveness and efficiency.
• The development of standards and protocols to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficient service delivery.

 Functional Responsibilities

This department will be responsible for two distinct functions of the division:

• The development and implementation of quality assurance, clinical governance and infection control systems in all health facilities consistent with national, bilateral and international expectations.
• The provision of support, monitoring and evaluation of quality assurance programs and projects in collaboration with the Regions, Districts and sub-districts with a view to promoting total quality in program effectiveness and efficiency.
• The development of standards and protocols to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficient service deliver.
