Dr. John Ekow Otoo is a dedicated Public Health Physician with nearly two decades of experience working with the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS). Over the past decade, he has held various managerial roles, right from the health facility level through the district health administration to the regional health administration. He is passionate about teamwork and leadership in healthcare delivery. He upholds the principle of excellence and strives to inspire his team to deliver high-quality healthcare.
As Director of Health Service at the regional level, Dr. Otoo plays a crucial role in overseeing health service administration, implementing national health policies, and ensuring the execution of key decisions from the Ghana Health Service Council. His leadership encompasses monitoring and evaluating clinical care and public health programs, ensuring prudent financial management, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to enhance access to healthcare.
