Dr. Josephat Ana-Imwine Nyuzaghl is a public health specialist and epidemiologist with extensive experience in healthcare leadership and disease control. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Health for the Savannah Region, Ghana, he has a strong track record in public health management, epidemiology, and healthcare system strengthening.

With an MD and MPH from the University of Ghana, as well as a Public Health Specialist certification from GCPS, Dr. Nyuzaghl has held pivotal roles, including Deputy Director of Public Health for the Upper East Region and Medical Superintendent at Bole District Hospital. His expertise extends to international public health interventions, having served as a Consultant Epidemiologist for the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ethiopia and Liberia, contributing significantly to polio eradication efforts and the Ebola outbreak response.

Dr. Nyuzaghl has undergone specialized training in hospital management, epidemiology, outbreak investigation, and public health surveillance from institutions such as the CDC (USA), GIMPA (Ghana), and health organizations in Japan, China, and South Korea. His research publications focus on maternal health, infectious diseases, and healthcare accessibility, demonstrating his commitment to evidence-based healthcare solutions
