Dr. Chrysantus Kubio
Dr Chrysantus Kubio, a Public Health Specialist, is the Regional Director of Health Service (RDHS) for the Northern Region, Ghana Health Service
Dr. Kubio initially joined the Service in 2003 and was posted to West Gonja Hospital as a Medical Officer after obtaining his MBChB from the University of Ghana Medical School. He became the Medical Superintendent of the same Hospital from 2004 to 2015.
While working in West Gonja Hospital, Dr Kubio acquired a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control from the University of Ghana, School of Public Health, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. After completing his MPH, he was appointed as the District Director of Health Service for the West Gonja District from 2007 to 2016. He acquired a Membership in the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in Public Health (MGCP) in 2016.
Dr Kubio was reassigned to the Saboba District Health Directorate as District Director of Health Service from 2016 to 2018. He was later reassigned to the Karaga District Health Directorate as the District Director of Health Service at the same time as Medical Superintendent of the Karaga District Hospital in June 2018.
